*The Eagle — 5 Great Leadership Lessons to learn from them*

*Eagles Re-Evolve*

A typical Eagle lives for about 70 years but after 30 years, its means of survival becomes tough — its wings become heavy and beak becomes weak.

Then it makes a hard decision — it flies to mountain tops in its nest, then hit its beak on the mountain till it breaks off and wait for it to grow.

After which it uses the newly grown beak to pull off its feathers, then wait till it grows.

Look at the pain involved when they “re-evolve”, yet they embrace change when they need to. This enables them to live for about 40 more years.

Leo Tolstoy said: “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” do you copy that, absolutely no one is ready for the change.

Re-evolve, re-strategize and adopt a change when it’s needed. Forget about why you can’t rule the world, think about how you can! And believe it, you can do it.

*They are Confident*

At an altitude of 10000 feet, you’d still find an eagle soaring. Even when there’s a storm, they use their wings (by following the current of the storm) to soar to an even greater height.

Their confidence is admiring. Norman Vincent Peale said: “Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy.” sounds weird?

Lead humbly but also, confidently.

*Eagles Never Scavenge*

Ideally, eagles don’t eat dead animals, they hunt their preys (fish, waterfowl and small mammals like squirrels, prairie dogs, raccoons, and rabbits). At times they consume at the point of the hunt and some other time, they take them to their nest.

Leaders often depend on the glory of previous leaders. This is absolutely wrong.

Build your legacy and set a record for others to follow. That’s a characteristic of an outstanding leader.

*They are Brave and Courageous*

Their greatest fear is that you may step forward without fear. Because your courage may become contagious. — Tom Althouse

Eagles are courageous and brave, they hunt their preys courageously and soar in the sky bravely.

Dear leader or prospective leader, be brave and courageous. Approach issues cautiously but be confident and trust your ability.

Leading is unquestionably tricky, but only without a proper guide ...

Be a good leader and show off your charisma in a good way....

Say it out!! I am a good leader ... can I hear you say yours?
