As I read and meditate over the writings of Chinua Achebe in his literary piece, "there was a country", it becomes so clear how corruption can give rise to all kinds of malady.
No wonder we live now in a culture where the human life is so devalued that the safety of cattle is preferred over the preservation of human lives.
My heart bleeds for my country.
It calls for sober reflection.
