Do you know that schizophrenia is a mental illness which affects how a person thinks, feels and behaves?
Symptoms can be quite distressing and include:
Hearing or seeing things that aren't really there.
Feeling that one is being monitored or watched.
Inappropriate or strange behaviour
Inability to sleep or concentrate.
A decline in personal hygiene and appearance.
Preoccupation with religion.
Deterioration in work or academic performance.
Undue fear and suspiciousness.
Those experiencing symptoms such as these for more than 2 weeks need professional help.
Let's stop the stigma against mental illnesses.
